The Radiologic Technologist Guide to Surgical Procedures

8 hrs. This course looks at a wide variety of surgical procedures being performed in today’s operating room. This course will cover Orthopedic, General, and Vascular exams. This course also look at how to take good intra-operative exams, as well as the pitfalls the Technologist face within the operating room.
Imaging For Pain Management

4 hrs. This course looks at the pain management procedures being performed today, and the important role the Radiologic Technologist play in the outcome of the procedures. This course will look in detail at many different injections including cervical injections, thoracic injections, lumbar injections, as well as injections of the skull.
Vascular Imaging

4 hrs. This course is designed to give the attendees an in-depth look at the Vascular procedures being performed today with mobile c-arms. This course will also give direction and understanding to Vascular terminology as well as Vascular programs found on today’s mobile c-arms.
The Truth About C-arms

4 hrs. Attendees will learn the truths concerning c-arm manufacturers, the systems they produce and the projected applications. The attendees will also get a sense of how surgical procedures have influenced the role and development of the mobile c-arm. This course will also look at the new Technology in today’s mobile c-arm market as well as the future technology to come.
Intra-operative 3D Imaging

4 hrs. With the rising cost of healthcare, and administrators having to purchase good multi-use equipment, The Intra-operative course looks at the 3D technology available and the procedures being performed intra-operative. Having attended this course will prepare you for the purchase as well as the application of mobile 3D imaging.
